Ars in tempore

Contemporary art itinerary that takes place in the ancient abbeys.

Conceived with the aim of promoting contemporary art and valorising the ancient abbeys of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the exhibitions are an opportunity to appreciate the most up-to-date outcomes of contemporary art, to rediscover the peculiarities of ancient areas of extraordinary historical interest, and to expand the territory's tourist offer. The abbey rooms become prestigious exhibition spaces, hosting the works of nationally and internationally renowned artists.

Every year for this occasion the medieval village of Cison di Valmarino, Treviso, becomes the capital of handicrafts, bringing together tradition, art and folklore. A week-long journey to discover ancient knowledge and crafts, recreating a curious open-air craft workshop. One of the most eagerly awaited summer events in Veneto, attracting visitors from all over Italy.
